We are an outstanding school in all areas, Ofsted 2016
We are delighted to announce that the Ofsted team who visited the school on 7th and 8th July 2016 have judged our school to be Outstanding in all areas.
The many highlights of the inspection report include the glowing reference to our children’s behaviour, attitudes to learning and their overall achievement.
‘Pupils’ behaviour is exemplary. They are unfailingly polite to each other and to adults.’ Ofsted, July 2016
‘Pupils demonstrate extremely mature attitudes to learning at all times. They understand and can talk fluently about the characteristics of a successful learner. Moreover, they can give examples of when they have used these characteristics to help them overcome obstacles to their progress.’ Ofsted, July 2016
The report reflects clearly what we do at St. Teresa’s and what we have been doing over time for all our children.
We have worked tirelessly to ensure that we have teaching of the highest standard.
‘Pupils make outstanding progress as they move through the school. By the time they leave at the end of key stage 2, pupils are extremely well prepared for the next stage of their education.’ Ofsted 2016
We continue with our vision of ‘Inspiring each other to excellence, in the Light of Christ’.
