We are a Good school with outstanding elements Ofsted 2024
We are delighted to announce that the Ofsted team who visited the school on 11th & 12th June 2024 have judged our school to be Good with Outstanding elements.
This inspection was carried out under a new framework which is very different to the framework used for our last full inspection in 2016. Whilst St Teresa’s previous judgement was ‘Outstanding’, OFSTED’s own national director of education has said of the new framework, that if: ‘a school that has been judged ‘Outstanding’ a good many years ago, is inspected again and judged to be ‘Good’ … that doesn’t mean that the school had declined in recent years, in fact the opposite can be the case.
We know that this is true of St. Teresa’s – we have undoubtedly continued to improve year-on-year since our previous inspection and are very proud of the school and all it offers the children, in so many areas. I am therefore delighted that the report fully recognised these incredible strengths in our school.
